8 Days Istanbul-Cappadocia-Konya-Ephesus-Pamukkale Tour
Day 1 - Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport our staff will meet you at the airport and free time to explore the city. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 - Istanbul - Walking City Tour ( B / L )
We start our tour in Sultanahmet, the heart of old Istanbul.
Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia) is one the greatest masterpieces of Byzantine architecture, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century. Converted into a mosque in 1453 by Conqueror Mehmet, it is now one of the world's greatest museums. Its massive dome still dominates the skyline of old Istanbul .
Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. It takes its name from the exquisite Iznik tiles that decorate the interior, and it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. Designed by a pupil of the famous architect Sinan in the 17th century, it was originally called Sultanahmet, from which the area takes its name.
Hippodrome was the centre of sporting and social events during the Byzantine Empire. The Serpentine Column, The Obelisk of Theodosius and The German Fountain are notable monuments decorating the arena.
Grand Bazaar is the oldest and largest shopping centre in Turkey, situated in the centre of the old city. It has 4,000 shops full of treasures, including carpets, leather, icons, ceramics and jewellery .
Topkapı Palace was the principal residence of the Ottoman Sultans for nearly 400 years. It is now a museum and houses a fabulous collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, jewels and costumes. The armoury and royal Harem are particularly worth seeing.
Little Hagia Sophia Mosque was formerly the Church of Sergius and Baccus. You may see fine examples of early Byzantine art.
End of the tour transfer to your hotel and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 - Norh Cappadocia Tour ( B / L )
At about 4.00 am, we will transfer you to airport in Istanbul for a flight to Kayseri(Cappadocia), 6.30 flight to Kayseri airport, 7.45 am arrive in Kayseri, pick up and check in to your cave hotel where rooms are dug inside fairy chimneys and 2000 years old cave dwellings with comfort of any other city hotel and even more. Breakfast at your hotel and departing for a fully guided North Cappadocia tour starting with :
Uchisar, is a troglodyte town situated right in the middle of Cappadocia. Enjoy the spectacular panaromic view of fairy chimneys.
Goreme Open Air Museum, Examine the fresco - covered churches in the Goreme Open Air Museum .
Cavusin, a deserted town with beautiful rock houses because of frequent rock falls.
Monks Valley (Pasabag) , the best place to see three - headed fairy chimneys. Pasabag, surrounded with beautiful natural rock formations.
Avanos, a place you will see how a pottery is being made by these local people. Even you can try your hand on the potter's wheel.
Devrent Valley, a lunar landscape and animal shaped pink rocks.
Urgup's Fairy Chimneys, with caps and conical shaped body and a boulder on top of it.
At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4 - South Cappadocia ( B / L )
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and fully guided full day tour star with a panaromic view of Goreme with its unique fairy chimneys.
Underground City, a complex of joined caves, built by the Christians to hide from their attacks.
Ihlara Valley, you can see many Roman churches, chapels, monastries and hermit's caves. Explore the famous rock - hewn, churches and hike 4 km through the valley .
Selimiye Castle, The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantinium period.
Pegion Valley, visit the pegion houses carved into the rocks.
At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel.
Day 5 - Konya ( B )
After you have your breakfast at your hotel in Cappadocia, you will take a bus to Konya, arrive in Konya at lunch time.
Konya had been the capital city for 211 years during Seljuks, Konya is located right in the middle of Turkey. The history goes back till 7000 BC. in Catalhoyuk. It is thew first known ancient city so far in the world. Konya is a very modern city at the same time.
Visit the home of great philosopher Mevlana, great humanist, his only aim was to teach people to love the creature for the honour of the creater. You should try to understand his messages to all people.
You shouldn't forget to try our world famous 'Etli Ekmek' (turkish pizza) and ' Fırın Kebabı '. Konya Kicthen had great place in Turkish Kitchen. try our famous meals.
You can visit Alaeddin Mosque, Karatay Museum, Ince Minare Museum. Then you will have a night bus to Pamukkale.
Day 6 - Pamukkale ( B / L )
Transfer to your hotel for daily room, breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up for a full day tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Pamukkale which means cotton castle, has been formed over time by the natural hot springs, rich in calcium and carbonate, that flow down the slope. We will also visit the ancient Roman Health Spa of Hierapolis, made most famous for it is thermal springs, theatre, Agora and the Necropolis. End of the tour transfer to bus station to go to Kusadası, arrival Kusadası and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadası .
Day 7 - Ephesus (B/L)
Early morning we will pick you up from hotel, for a full day guided Ephesus tour will start.
Absorb yourself in history today with our professional guided tour of Ephesus and visit to the site of Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre.
The Baths of Varius, Odeon, Prytaneion, Fountain of Polio, The Gate of Heracles State Agora, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Domitian, Great Theatre and Harbour street with the Necropolis will be visited.
House of Virgin Mary, is the place where the Virgin Mary lived her last years before she died.
The Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and drawcard for pilgrims for centuries.
Library of Celsus, Roman governor of Asia Minor, Celsus's Consul Tiberius Julius Aquila, erected this libraray in his father's honour after governor's death in 114.
At the end of the tour, transfer to Izmir Airport for a flight to Istanbul. Arrival to Istanbul, transfer to your hotel, Overnight in Istanbul.
Day - 8 Istanbul ( B )
After breakfast at your hotel, check out before 12.00, depending on your international flight we will transfer you to the airport. Our tour concludes in here and we say good bye to our new friends.
