Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia) is one the greatest masterpieces of Byzantine architecture, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century. Converted into a mosque in 1453 by Conqueror Mehmet, it is now one of the world's greatest museums. Its massive dome still dominates the skyline of old Istanbul .
Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. It takes its name from the exquisite Iznik tiles that decorate the interior, and it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. Designed by a pupil of the famous architect Sinan in the 17th century, it was originally called Sultanahmet, from which the area takes its name.
Hippodrome was the centre of sporting and social events during the Byzantine Empire. The Serpentine Column, The Obelisk of Theodosius and The German Fountain are notable monuments decorating the arena.
Grand Bazaar is the oldest and largest shopping centre in Turkey, situated in the centre of the old city. It has 4,000 shops full of treasures, including carpets, leather, icons, ceramics and jewellery .
Topkapı Palace was the principal residence of the Ottoman Sultans for nearly 400 years. It is now a museum and houses a fabulous collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, jewels and costumes. The armoury and royal Harem are particularly worth seeing.
Little Hagia Sophia Mosque was formerly the Church of Sergius and Baccus. You may see fine examples of early Byzantine art.
At the end of the tour we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4 - Antalya: Aspendos, Perge & Side ( B / L )
After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and a full day guided tour will start. Perge , one of the most beautiful and richest cities of the ancient world, famous for its temple of Artemis. The acropolis dates back to the Bronze Age. Alexander the Great visited the city in 333BC during his war against the Persians. Kursunlu Waterfall, surrounded by giant pine trees, is a lovely place to relax in the heat of the day. Aspendos like Perge and Side, this ancient city was founded around 1,000BC and continued to be inhabited for some 2,000 years. It is famous for having the best preserved amphitheatre in the world, more than 300 feet in diameter, with seating for 7,000 people. Side , one of the best-known ancient sites in Turkey and a popular holiday resort, is located on a peninsula with wonderful sea views. A great wall and moat separate it from the mainland.
