10 Days Tour - Istanbul - Gallipoli - Troy - Ephesus - Pamukkale - Cappadocia

Day 1- Istanbul

Upon arrival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport our transfer man will meet you at the airport and free time to explore the city . Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2- Istanbul ( B / L )

After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel and a full day Istanbul Classic Tour will start from historical peninsula with Hagia Sophia a masterpiece with a synthesis of the Occident and the Orient , with a unique example of architectural applications and is considered to be the one and only example in this respect . Blue Mosque , is the only mosque built with six minarets . It is also known as ''Blue Mosque'' owing to the glazed tiles decorating its interior . Hippodrome , the scene of ancient chariot races and sporting events , the ancient Hippodrome , with its four monuments ( the German Fountain of Wilhelm II ,the Obelisk of Theodosius , the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine ) lies next to the Blue Mosque. Topkapı Palace , The palace was the home for all the Sultans until the reign of Abdulmecid I . Important sections in the palace like ; weapons collections , Topkapı dagger , the Spoonmakers Diamond ,Miniatures and Manuscripts ,Kitchens and the porcelains collections , Sultan's clothes ,The Sacred Objects etc.

Lunch at a nice local restaurant that serves delicious Anatolian meals.

Suleymaniye Mosque ; it crowns one of the seven hills dominating the Golden Horn and provides a magnificent landmark for the entire city .

Overnight in Istanbul .

Day 3 - Gallipoli Daily Tour ( L )

Early morning pick up from your hotel and drive to Gallipoli for a full day tour of Dardanelles , Kabatepe War Museum , Brighton Beach , Anzac Cove , Lone Pine , Chunuk Bair .

We will have our lunch at a nice local restaurant that serves delicious local foods .

Gallipoli , one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey . Walk the historical fields where thousands died upon a time ,trenches , tunnels , war memorials .

Overnight in Canakkale or Eceabat.

Day - 4 Troy ( B )

After breakfast at your hotel we will drive to Troy . Step back in time as we visit Troy , home of the famed Trojan Horse . We will visit ancient city ruins , the Megaron Houses , Roman Theatre and Bouletarion .

At the end of the tour you will take a bus to Kusadası, arrive in Kusadası or Selcuk. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Selcuk or Kusadsı.

Day 5 - Ephesus ( B / L )

After breakfast , pick up from hotel , a full day , guided Ephesus tour will start .

Absorb yourself in history today with our professional guided tour of Ephesus and visit to the site of Temple of Artemis . Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre .

The Baths of Varius , Odeon , Prytaneion , Fountain of Polio , The Gate of Heracles State Agora , Temple of Hadrian , Temple of Domitian , Great Theatre and Harbour street with the Necropolis will be visited .

House of Virgin Mary , is the place where the Virgin Mary lived her last years before she died .

The Temple of Artemis , one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and drawcard for pilgrims for centuries .

Library of Celsus , Roman governor of Asia Minor ,Celsus's Consul Tiberius Julius Aquila , erected this libraray in his father's honour after governor's death in 114 .

At the end of the tour, you will take a bus to Pamukkale normally it takes three hours. Transfer to your hotel in Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale .

Day 6 - Pamukkale ( B / L )

After breakfast you will be picked up for a full day guided tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Pamukkale, which means cotton castle, has been formed over time by the natural hot springs, rich in calcium and carbonate, that flow down the cliffs. We will also visit the ancient Roman health spa of Hierapolis, made famous for it's hot springs, theatre, agora and necropolis. After your tour you will take an overnight bus to Cappadocia.

Day 7- North Cappadocia Tour : ( L )

Arrive in Cappadocia, pick up from the bus station and check in to your cave hotel where rooms are dug inside fairy chimneys and 2000 years old cave dwellings with comfort of any other city hotel and even more . You will depart for a fully guided North Cappadocia tour with lunch starting with :

Uchisar , is a troglodyte town situated right in the middle of Cappadocia . It is named after enormous piece of rock in the center of the town , which was used as a castle . An introduction of volcanic area . Enjoy the spectacular panaromic view of fairy chimneys.

Goreme Open Air Museum , Goreme was an important Christian center in the early years of the Middle Ages . Examine the fresco - covered churches in the Goreme Open Air Museum .

Cavusin, a deserted town with beautiful rock houses because of frequent rock falls .

Monks Valley(Pasabag) ,the best place to see three - headed fairy chimneys . Pasabag , surrounded with beautiful natural rock formations .

Avanos,a place you will see how a pottery is being made by these local people . Even you can try your hand on the potter's wheel .

Devrent Valley, a lunar landscape and animal shaped pink rocks . The ruins at Devrent are spread over three valleys , that also house several pointed fairy chimneys with large stems .

Urgup's Fairy Chimneys, with caps and conical shaped body and a boulder on top of it .

At the end of the tour , transfer to your hotel .Overnight in Cappadocia .

Day 8 - South Cappadocia Tour ( B / L )

After breakfast, pick up from your hotel and fully guided full day tour with lunch starts with a panaromic view of Goreme with its unique fairy chimneys .

Underground City, a complex of joined caves , built by the Christians to hide from their attacks .

Ihlara Valley, you can see many Roman churches , chapels ,monastries and hermit's caves . Explore the famous rock -hewn ,churches and hike 4 km through the valley .

Selimiye Mosque, The complexes were carved into volcanic rock outcroppings during the Byzantinium period .

Pegion Valley, visit the pegion houses carved into the rocks .

At the end of the tour ,collect your luggages from hotel reception and transfer to Kayseri airport for a return flight to Istanbul .Arrival , transfer to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 9 - Istanbul ( B / L )

Istanbul is not completely perfect without a tour of the Bosphorous Tour, the majestic strait that runs through the city, linking Europe and Asia. After breakfast we go by bus to the Golden Horn, a natural and secure harbour, which has played an important role in the development of Istanbul. Before starting our cruise we visit the Spice Market, where the air is filled with the aroma of exotic spices. Then we board our boat to enjoy the many sights along the wooded shores of the Bosphorous, including Istanbul Bridge that for a time was the world's longest, and the massive Rumeli Fortress, built by Mehmet the Conqueror in just three months as he prepared to take Istanbul. One of the most interesting sights is Dolmabahçe Palace, which was designed in a blend of various European architectural styles in 1843-1856 by Karabet Balyan . The three-storied palace is built on a symetrical plan and has 285 rooms and 43 halls . Its final resident was Kemal Ataturk. (The Bosphorous boat trip has no interior visits.)

Then back to your hotel and overnight in Istanbul

Day 10 - Istanbul ( B )

After breakfast at your hotel , check out before 12.00 , depending on your international flight we transfer you to the airport . Our tour concludes in here and we say good bye to our new friends .
