After  breakfast ,  your  guide  will  meet  you   at  the  hotel  for your  full-day  tour  of  Istanbul.

We start at  Ayasofya (Haghia Sophia),  one  of  the  world's  architectural  marvels , built  by  Constantine  the  Great  in  the  4th  century  and  reconstructed  by  Justinian  in  the  6th  century . It was the largest  cathedral in the world for nearly a  thousand years.  Next  we  visit  the  Blue  Mosque,  so  called because  of  the  magnificent  blue  Iznik  tiles  that  decorate  the  interior.  Called  Sultan  Ahmet  Camii when  it was built  (1609-1616), it is  the  only mosque  with  six  minarets.  The  ancient  Hippodrome ,  scene  of   chariot  races , has  four  antique monuments:  the  German  Fountain  of  Wilhelm II ,  the Obelisk  of  Theodosus , the  bronze  Serpentine  Column and  the  Column  of  Constantine . The  Grand  Bazaar  is one  of  the  oldest  covered  markets  in  the  world , with  more  than  4,000  shops.

Lunch  at  a nice  local  restaurant  that  serves  delicious  Anatolian  food .

Topkapı  Palace , the  great  palace  of  the  Ottoman  sultans  from the 15th  to  the  19th  century .  Important  collections  include  the  armoury,  where  the  jewel  encrusted  Topkapı  dagger can  be  seen,  the  Spoonmakers  Diamond,  miniatures  and  manuscripts,  fıne  porcelains,  sacred  objects  and  the  Sultan's  wardrobe  with  its  wonderful  ceremonial  and  informal  costumes.

Our  last  visit   will  be  to  one  of  two  beautiful  mosques,  either Suleymaniye  or  Rustem  Pasa,  whichever  is  available  on the day of  our  tour.

After  the  tour  we take you to your  hotel  for the night.

Day 3 - Bosphorus  Cruise  &  Beylerbeyi  Palace  Tour  ( B / L )

After  breakfast  we  pick  you  up  from  your  hotel  and  make  a  short  visit  to  the  17th  century  Spice  Market,  one  of  the most   colourful  bazaars  where  the  air  is  filled  with  the  enticing  aromas  of  exotic  spices  and  herbs.  Then  we  take  an  unforgettable tour of  the  Bosphorus.  Relaxing on deck while we cruise up this legendary waterway, you will see many gorgeous palaces ,  Ottoman mansions,   imposing  fortresses,  ancient  fishing  villages  and  beautiful bays.  Rumeli  Fortress  built  by  Mehmet  the  Conqueror  in just  three  months before he took control of  Istanbul  and the  great trade route of the Bosphorus. Bosphorus  Bridge , which links  one  continent (Europe)  to  another  (Asia ).  Beylerbeyi  Palace , built in 1865 on the Asian side, was the  summer  residence  of  the Ottoman  sultans and the last  prison of the deposed Sultan Abdulhamid II, from 1912 till his death in 1919. Our final destination is  Camlıca  Hill , the  highest  point  of  Istanbul.  In the park at  the  top  you  can  rest  and   admire  the  magnificent  panorama  of  Istanbul  and  the Bosphorus. Have  a cup  of  Turkish  coffee  here  and  you  will never  forget  its  flavour, which is the flavour  of  ancient  Istanbul . Then  you  will  be  transfered  to  your  hotel.

At  the  end  of  your  tour  we take you back  to  your  hotel  in  Istanbul .

Day 4  -  Norh  Cappadocia  Tour  ( B / L )

At  about  4.00am  we take  you  to  the airport  in  Istanbul  for  a  6.30am  flight  to  Kayseri (Cappadocia).  You arrive at  7.45am  and  your  first  stop  is  to  check  into  a cave  hotel and have breakfast. These hotels  have bedrooms  dug  out  of  Cappadoccia's  famous  fairy  chimneys.  Some are  around 2,000  years  old,  yet  they  are  as  warm  and  comfortable  as  a good city hotel.

After breakfast at the  hotel your  fully-guided  North  Cappadocia  tour begins:

Uchisar, the  highest  point  of  Cappadocia  and  right  in  the  centre  of  the  region, is  a  troglodyte  town with  an  enormous  rock, which was used as a castle,  overlooking it.  From  this  vantage  point  you  can  enjoy  a   panaromic  view  of  the  fairy  chimneys.

Goreme  Open  Air  Museum  Goreme  was  an  important  Christian centre  in  the  early  Middle  Ages  and is now  a protected  world  heritage  centre.  A  walk round  this  network of  ancient  fresco-covered churches that  were laboriously  carved out  of  the rock  so long ago  is a  truly  moving experience.

Cavusin, a  deserted  town because  of  frequent  rock  falls,  was  once  inhabited  by  Dervishes  and Christians,  and  before that  by  the  Byzantines and Romans.  With its  beautiful  rock  houses,  this is one of the  essential  sights  of  Cappadocia.

Monks  Valley (Pasabag)  is  the  best  place  to  see  three-headed fairy  chimneys and  beautiful  natural  rock  formations .

Avanos is  a  centre  for  the  local  pottery  trade,  where you will be given the chance to  try  your  hand  on  the  potter's  wheel .

Devrent  Valley, a  lunar  landscape  with  animal-shaped  pink  rocks  and some of  the  largest  fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.

Urgup's Fairy Chimneys are yet another variety of these unearthly shapes created by volcanic ash, erosian and the passage of time. These have  conical shaped bodies topped with a giant boulder.

At  the  end  of  the  tour ,  we take you to your hotel in Cappodocia .

Day 5 -  South  Cappadocia  Tour  ( B / L )

After  breakfast,  we  pick  you  up  from  your  hotel  and  your  full-day  guided   tour  (lunch included)  starts  with  a  panaromic  view  of  Goreme  and  its  unique  fairy  chimneys .

Underground  City -  an  unbelievable  experience,  as  you  head  down to  what  seems  like  the  centre  of the  earth.  Some  of  these  cities  go  ten  stories  underground  and  could  house  50,000 people,  with  their livestock  and  foodstores.  Possibly  built  by  the  Phyrigians  in  the 7th century BC, they were  later  used  as a  refuge  for  persecuted  Christians.

Ihlara  Valley  Explore  the  famous  rock-hewn  Byzantine churches  and  hike  4km  through  this beautiful  valley .

Selimiye  Mosque, this marvellous  complex  was  carved  into  the volcanic  rock during  the  Byzantine  era.

Pigeon  Valley,  see  the  cliffs  studded  with  pigeon  houses,  so  high  up it's  hard  to  believe  anyone  could reach  them  to collect  the  droppings that  were  sold  as  fertilizer.

At  the  end  of  the  tour,  we collect  your  luggage  and  go  to  Kayseri  airport  for  a  return  flight  to  Istanbul, where  we take  you  to  your  hotel.

Day 6 -  Departure  from  Istanbul  ( B )

Check out of your hotel before 12:00am,  and we take you to  Ataturk  Airport  or  Sabiha  Gökcen for your international  flight . This is when we say goodbye to our friends, but remember, you can always extend your tour  by  adding  extra trips in and around Istanbul or even further afield.
