10 Days Turkey Tour - Istanbul - Cappadocia - Antalya - (Blue Cruise from Olympos to Fethiye)
Day 1- Istanbul
Upon arrival at Istanbul Atatürk Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport our staff will meet you at the airport and free time to explore the city. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2- Istanbul-Walking City Tour ( L )
We start our tour in Sultanahmet, the heart of old Istanbul.
Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia) is one the greatest masterpieces of Byzantine architecture, built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th century. Converted into a mosque in 1453 by Conqueror Mehmet, it is now one of the world's greatest museums. Its massive dome still dominates the skyline of old Istanbul .
Blue Mosque is one of the most prominent landmarks of the city. It takes its name from the exquisite Iznik tiles that decorate the interior, and it is the only imperial mosque with six minarets. Designed by a pupil of the famous architect Sinan in the 17th century, it was originally called Sultanahmet, from which the area takes its name.
Hippodrome was the centre of sporting and social events during the Byzantine Empire. The Serpentine Column, The Obelisk of Theodosius and The German Fountain are notable monuments decorating the arena.
Grand Bazaar is the oldest and largest shopping centre in Turkey, situated in the centre of the old city. It has 4,000 shops full of treasures, including carpets, leather, icons, ceramics and jewellery .
Topkapı Palace was the principal residence of the Ottoman Sultans for nearly 400 years. It is now a museum and houses a fabulous collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, jewels and costumes. The armoury and royal Harem are particularly worth seeing.
Little Hagia Sophia Mosque was formerly the Church of Sergius and Baccus. You may see fine examples of early Byzantine art.
At the end of the tour you will take an overnight bus to Cappadocia which will take about twelve hours by comfortable, non smoking , airconditioned busses.
Day 3 : North Cappadocia ( B / L )
After arrival Cappadocia, transfer to your hotel, breakfast at the hotel and depart for a full a day tour of North Cappadocia, we wil visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley, Avanos, Pasabag, Cavusin Village. At the end of the tour transfer back to hotel and overnight in a Cave hotel in Goreme.
Day 4 : South Cappadocia ( B/L )
After you have your breakfast at your hotel, at 09:30 am pick up from the hotel and full day tour of South Cappadocia. We will visit Piegon Valley, Underground city (Kaymakli or Derinkuyu) Selime Village, world famous valley Ihlara. At the end of the tour back to your hotel and transfer to bus station then you will take a night bus to Antalya.
Day 5 : Antalya ( B )
Arrive in Antalya, transfer to your hotel, breakfast and it is your free day to discover the hidden beauties of Antalya, walk through the narrow streets of old town ''Kaleiçi'' or you may have a chance of swimming in the clean beaches of Antalya.
Overnight in Antalya.
Day 6 : Antalya to Olympos ( B/D )
After breakfast at your hotel in Antalya, transfer to bus station for Demre (Blue Cruise Starting point) It will take about three hours. We will pick you up from bus station in Demre, transfer to harbour of Demre between 1 and 2 p.m. We will see Pirates Cave for snorkeling. Sunken City of Kekova (Lycian-Roman archaeological site is protected, so only looking). Simena, a traditional Turkish fishing village with no car access and Byzantine/Ottoman castle. Enjoy your fishing on the deck of the boat. In Gokkaya Bay water sports are available. Dinner, relax in this pirates haven or party time under thousands of stars, or simply relax back and chill out. Overnight on the boat.
Day 7 : Kas (B/L/D)
After breakfast, departure to Kas where we first have a swim in a nice and quiet bay in front of the little ancient town, Kas is a wonderful town with its enchanting atmosphere, and then stop in the harbour for lunch, visit of this charming fishing village. Walk in the street of Uzun Carsı, please look at the wooden balconies with flowers. Visit the Lycin King Tomb at the end of Uzun Çarsı. Kas was known as ancient Antiphellos, only Lycian rock tombs, sarcophagi and the Roman theatre are left. But the charm of the town remains! We will stop near Kalkan, in Aquarium or Firnaz Bay. Enjoy your dinner in a quite place under thousands of stars or just taste the fish that you caught today. Overnight on the boat.
Day 8 : Fethiye , Oludeniz (B/L/D)
Around sunrise we will depart for Butterfly Valley where we stop (sea conditions permitting!) for breakfast, swimming and to visit this natural reserve, hosting 136 kinds of different butterflies and moths. OLUDENIZ (The Blue Lagoon) is our next stop, again sea conditions permitting! Option for paragliding available. In a bay near Oludeniz we will have lunch. Last stop of the day is St-Nicholas Island. Visit the Byzantine ruins, swim, dinner.Overnight on the boat.
Day 9 : Fethiye ( B/L )
After breakfast, departure for Samanlik Bay (swim & lunch). Finally we sail to Fethiye Harbour where we will arrive between 3 and 4 p.m.
Our blue cruise tour concludes in the harbour of Fethiye then we will transfer you bus station you will take a night bus to Istanbul.
Day 10 : Istanbul (B)
Arrive in Istanbul, transfer to your daily hotel for some refreshment. We will transfer you to airport depending on your international flight.
Our tour concludes in here or we can extend your trip to other destinations of Turkey.
